BJP Yuva morcha State General Secretary and Panvel Mahanagr Palika nagar sewak Shri Vikrant Balasaheb Patil has been chosen unanimously vice mayor of Panvel. He is young dynamic
and hard working leader in Panvel. He is also a very popular in young due to leadership quality and hardworking.

Vikrant  Patil has been active in politics for the last 18 years arounf. Vikrant Patil, who started politics from the district level,has also led the BJP Yuva Morcha leadership. He is said to have a public relations racket in Panvel.He is very reachable to common man.

The election program have held at the Senior Citizen Hall of Panvel. At present, as the presiding officer, the Collector Dr. Vijay Suryavanshi was present. Vikrant Patil was nominated for BJP's candidature. The application was not filed by the opponents. So Vikrant  Patil's elected unopposed.
